Amidst all the optimism, I was very worried about Hostler taking over the offense. And sure enough, it was horrendous. An inexperienced OC with an inexperienced QB is going to be ugly 100% of the time.

Martz will help Alex improve this year, absolutely no doubt in my mind. The big question is whether Alex can stay healthy and maintain a live arm over the course of the season. My guess is no, and shoulder/arm will wear down after 4-5 games. I'm quite concerned with his shoulder as a long-term problem.
