Based on the season with Norv Turner, I'd say that Alex's grade is about a solid C. A passing grade, but not enough to win games for you (the year prior to that, he was a D). Hopefully he can raise that grade up to a B-/B this year with Martz.

Eventually, I expect he'll peak in the B/B+ range. A good starting QB who isn't going to win games by himself but won't screw things up either.

But really, does it matter how sincere I am in this discussion? You're obviously not going to be.

I want this team to be like the guy in the rated-R movie; you know, the guy you're not sure whether or not you like yet. You're not sure where he's coming from alright. Okay?"
