Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me if the W's expressed interest in Milicic... Orlando could very well have wanted to wait 'til the summer. Preserves their cap space(Milicic's deal is expiring after all), and gives them time to see if Jason is recovering from knee surgery. Situation where it was probably in their best interest to wait 'til the off-season. They'll wait and see what if any interest there is in Darko on the fa-market and what type of contract he and his agent want.

I think it's a viable trade and there are variations... eg. Orlando could keep Redick and the #'s should still work.
