Thomas is a far better fit for an uptempo system than Ike Diogu.
are you just arguing for the sake of argument? not sure what theory you think I'm espousing re: Thomas or Diogu.
if you think Monta is more valuable than an athletic, raw F who lacks ideal size at PF, whom you haven't seen, that's understandable.
Likening Thomas to Diogu is way off... they're very different players.
re: Ike-trade. He was a talented F who wasn't getting run in GS. The W's were looking to make a change up front and clear some long term salary. Ike was the cost of doing business. I'd have preferred the W's utilized Diogu more offensively, but that's over and done with. Given the choice between Thomas and Diogu for this W's roster, I'd take Thomas.
